We Elevated 3D Augmented Reality For An Industry Leader
Seisan created a cross-platform 3D augmented reality mobile application that brings a building manufacturer’s products into realistic virtual environments, empowering sales teams with an interactive and engaging sales enablement tool.

Seisan designed and developed a cross-platform mobile tablet application that allows sales team members to explore fully immersive 360-degree virtual spaces and dynamically swap company products and configurations.
Seisan partnered with a building materials manufacturer to design and implement an intuitive augmented reality experience that allows sales team members to showcase products within realistic virtual spaces.
The application provides an accessible, immersive way to present products to building managers, architects, and customers, including the ability to visualize environments under different lighting conditions.
Project Overview
Seisan partnered with a building materials manufacturer to design and implement an intuitive augmented reality experience that allows sales team members to showcase products within realistic virtual spaces. The application provides an accessible, immersive way to present products to building managers, architects, and customers, including the ability to visualize environments under different lighting conditions.
The app enables sales representatives to quickly swap product colors, finishes, and configuration options within a variety of virtual environments such as boardrooms, facility entrances, and office spaces.
Users can explore each environment by using the mobile device as a viewport, allowing them to look around the space naturally. Additional controls allow users to view products from any angle, adjust perspective, and move freely throughout the 3D environment to fully experience products from multiple vantage points.
Interactive hotspots placed throughout each virtual space highlight key product features, displaying high-resolution photography and detailed visuals to support product storytelling.
As sales priorities evolved, specific product lines could be easily updated or swapped within the application, ensuring the tool remained aligned with changing marketing and sales initiatives.
Technology Details
Seisan developed a single Unity-based 3D application capable of deploying native experiences for iOS and Android, as well as a web-based version using WebGL. This approach delivered high-performance, platform- optimized applications while maintaining a unified codebase.
Custom on-screen controls, including virtual joysticks and zoom functionality, were implemented for the web version, while a manual navigation mode was provided for tablet users. The tablet application also leveraged built- in device accelerometers, allowing users to physically move the tablet and look around the virtual space as if they were standing inside it— creating a highly immersive, intuitive experience.
Collapsible Panels
Color Selection and Save/Change panels are collapsible allowing users to declutter the view for optimal viewing.
Familiar Controls
Standard left and right virtual joysticks feel and act like moost people are used to, eliminating any need for tutorials.
Jump Points
Jump points were integrated to allow users to teleport and move between fixed spots without the need to utilize controllers.
360° Mode
Users can toggle into 360° Mode to look around the room from a single vantage point.
Results
The mobile AR application significantly enhanced the sales team’s ability to communicate product value by transforming static presentations into immersive experiences. Sales representatives were able to demonstrate products in context, helping customers better understand scale and aesthetics within real-world environments.
By enabling real-time product swapping and configuration changes during sales meetings, the app reduced reliance on physical samples and mockups, accelerating sales conversations and improving engagement. Prospective clients reported greater confidence in product selection due to the ability to visualize solutions before installation.
Internally, the unified Unity platform streamlined ongoing updates and reduced maintenance effort, allowing new product lines and environments to be deployed without rebuilding the application. Overall, the solution positioned the client as an innovator in digital sales enablement while giving their sales team a powerful tool to differentiate themselves in competitive sales scenarios.
