Orion’s customers relied heavily on phone calls and email exchanges with sales reps to learn the status of orders, invoices, and deliveries. This reactive workflow created bottlenecks, slowed response times, and made it difficult for reps to focus on higher-value relationship-building activities. 

Seisan worked closely with key stakeholders to develop a user-friendly, responsive portal for both customers and internal teams—one that integrated seamlessly with NetSuite and presented data clearly and consistently. Success was defined by the ability for customers to self-serve order information and for sales reps to efficiently access consolidated account metrics.

Project Overview

The Orion Companies is a U.S.-based group serving the vegetation management, agriculture, turf, ranch, aquatic, roadside, and utility markets. Their ecosystem spans manufacturing of nutrients, herbicides, and adjuvants; custom formulation; digital tracking; and service delivery. 

As this multi-market operation expanded, both customers and internal sales representatives needed a better way to access critical order and invoice information. Orion partnered with Seisan to build a modern, responsive web application that delivered self-service capabilities for customers and consolidated account visibility for sales reps—reducing manual calls and improving operational efficiency across the organization.

  • Client-led UAT cycles validating output against NetSuite
